John N. on Mowser

Mowser is a great ambassador for the hiking community, especially Tasmania terrain and seasons. He shares much of what he has learnt over thirty-five tears experience on YouTube "https://www.youtube.com/@mowsertas" and his own Blog site "https://www.mowser.com.au/". I have found that a pdf document on "The Wet-Cold Layering System" is very useful and oriented me to procuring the Brinje under garment top which I am testing right now. Great suggestion. Looking forward to the Showa Temres 282 gloves suggested too. I'm more into vehicle and bicycle camping. So armed with recommendations from people like Mowser are helpful for me to extend my outdoor seasons into wet and cold times too. Time is moving on and not getting younger so best to use sensible gear to enjoy the outdoors even more. Have done some hiking in the past. Looking forward to doing some again. I notice that the Durston X-Dome tents are winning a lot of YouTube acclaim. Hoping to procure one shorty too. Watched Mowser's take on this shelter and, was very positive. Thanks Mowser. You're inspirational. Show practical examples. Confidence building.
